The Village of Warner is a farming community located in Southern Alberta at the base of the Milk River Ridge surrounded by wheat fields and native grass lands. It is a community with the conveniences of a larger urban center in a safe environment where your neighbors are your friends.
For entertainment book the Skating Rink, go bowling, eat at Lynne’s Kitchen or join the Athelete’s Centre.
The rink has gone through a $500,000 renovation and has some of the best ice in Southern Alberta. Boasting an NHL official sized ice rink, zamboni supplied by the NHL, new concrete foundation and upgraded spectator seating, this arena is as good as any around.
Massive renovations have been done to the Warner Civic Center arena. All boards, glass and seating areas have been completely redone giving this facility top notch marks. It would also be fitting to point out the heating elements that will keep all of our fans warm on those cold winter nights.
A first class athletes center has now been completed. This facility houses a state of the art dressing room for the Warner Warriors, plus three additional dressing rooms. Also part of this building is a fitness/training center and an athletic therapy room. Warner Rink has four dressing rooms with the capacity to add more rooms as demand dictates. Each dressing room is equipped with shower and washroom facilities.
We are a community of 392 residents. We have a K-12 school, ice arena with fitness facility, restaurants, gas station, grocery store, post office, curling rink, hotel/bar, library, seniors centre, and a volunteer fire & ambulance service. The Milk River Emergency/Hospital is only 7-10 minutes South of Warner. If you are looking for a small town to live and raise your children in we are the community for you!
